On Wednesday 20 June 2018, NATO's Civilian Advisors to Afghanistan visited the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) and met with the Director General of AISS. During this meeting, both sides exchanged views on ongoing political, security, economic and peace process. Both parties also emphasized the importance of sound and independent research for tackling difficult policy questions that the country faces.
