Nowruz Concert

The 13th Herat Security Dialogue will coincide with the celebration of Nowruz and the arrival of the new year, symbolizing renewal, peace, and cultural unity. To mark these two meaningful occasions, a Nowruz cultural celebration will take place in one of Berlin’s renowned opera halls, gathering artists and audiences from across the broader Nowruz region.

The centerpiece of the evening will be a Nowruz concert by the Afghan Youth Orchestra, performing classical and folk compositions that capture the spirit of resilience, hope, and harmony shared by the peoples of the Nowruz world. In addition to the Afghan ensemble, distinguished artists representing Albanian, Turkish, Iranian, Kurdish, and Central Asian cultural traditions will perform music, poetry, and dance inspired by the common heritage of Nowruz.

This special evening will serve as both a celebration and a reflection of the enduring cultural bonds among the peoples of the region. It will also embody the conference’s broader vision of promoting dialogue, peace, and mutual understanding through art and shared traditions. By uniting academic discourse with cultural expression, the Nowruz Concert will remind participants that the renewal of ideas and the renewal of the human spirit are deeply intertwined.

Note: Details regarding the registration process and participation mechanism will be announced and communicated at a later stage.
