On May 7-8, 2018 KUASIA (Koç University Centre for Asian Studies) in association with the Sussex Asia Centre (University of Sussex) and the participation of Asia Research Institute (ARI) of the National University of Singapore, and the Afghanistan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS), held a two-day workshop on the study of international migration from Inter-Asian perspectives. The aim of this workshop is to lead scholars to advance a critical understanding and to develop comparative studies on the dramatic changes brought about by new economic and social global forces in Asia, as well as to interrogate the concept of ‘Inter-Asia’ with respect to migration and wellbeing.
