Director of Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS), Dr. Davood Moradian attended at the second meeting of “Afghanistan-Pakistan-China Trilateral Process” on 19-20 October 2014 in Islamabad. The Pakistan China Institute, in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung hosted the conference. The conference follows the Beijing Trilateral Dialogue: China-Afghanistan-Pakistan, held in Beijing in August 2013, co-hosted by the Pakistan-China Institute and the China Institute of International Studies. This track 1.5 dialogue, the first initiative of its kind, brings together strategists, academicians, diplomats and foreign relations experts to discuss the current security and political situation in Afghanistan and region and the prospects of joint cooperation among the three nations in areas of security, politics, economy and culture. The AISS will host the third meeting in early Spring 2015 in Kabul.
