On Friday May 13, 2016, Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) held a farewell dinner in honor of the Ambassador of the Republic of France, H.E Mr. Jean-Michel Marlaud. This event was attended by Dr. Rangin Dadfar Spanta, Former National Security Advisor, Indian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Manpreet Vohra, German Ambassador, H.E Mr. Markus Potzel, TurkishAmbassador, H.E. Mr. Ali Sait AKIN, organization of Islamic cooperation permanent representative to Afghanistan, Ambassador Aydin Nurhan, NATO’s senior civilian representative in Afghanistan Ambassador Ismail Aramaz, representatives of foreign embassies in Kabul, Afghan government officials, members of parliament, media and civil society activists. During the farewell, AISS director spoke of H.E Mr. Jean-Michel Marlaud’s important contribution to strengthening Afghanistan and France relations.
