The 2nd Round of “Afghanistan and Russia Bilateral Dialogue”

The second round of the “Afghanistan and Russia Bilateral Dialogue” was co-organized by the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The event was held virtually; experts and officials from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Russian Federation shared their views on the ongoing peace negotiations with the Taliban and the prospects for any peace settlements in Afghanistan. In addition, they discussed the future of Afghanistan; areas of mutual cooperation, both regional and international, between Afghanistan and Russia.
