AISS Holds a Farewell Ceremony in Honor of the Ambassador of the Republic of France
On Saturday September 8, 2018, the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) held a farewell dinner in honor of the Ambassador of the Republic of France H.E Ambassador Mr. François Richier. This event was attended by Dr. Rangin Dadfar Spanta, Former National Security Advisor, Dr. Anwar-ul Haq Ahadi, Chairman and co-founder of the New National Front of Afghanistan and former Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Amrullah Saleh, Former head of the National Directorate of Security, Dr. Zalmai Rassoul Former Foreign Minister, General Abdul Rahim Wardak, Former Defense Minister, Swedish Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Tobais Thyberg, Agha Khan Ambassador, H.E Mrs. Noor Jahan Mawani, NATO Senior Civilian Representative in Afghanistan Ambassador Cornelius Zimmermann, Mr. Michael Barry, Professor of American University of Afghanistan, Afghan government officials, members of parliament, media and civil society activists. During the farewell, AISS director spoke of, H.E Ambassador Mr. François Richier’s important contribution to strengthening Afghanistan and France relations.
