The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Regional Centre for Strategic Studies (RCSS) of Sir Lanka. The agreement provides a framework for the two institutes’ bilateral cooperation in the areas of joint research, publications, conferences and Scholars' Exchange. The event was held virtually; Dr. Gamini Keerawella, Executive Director of Regional Centre for Strategic Studies, Samira Sameem, Deputy Director of Afghanistan Institute for Strategic Studies, Reza Mohammadi AISS senior cultural adviser and Mohammad Ashraf Haidari, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Sri Lanka, attended the ceremony.
