Tamim Asey is the former Afghan Deputy Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. He is a fellow at Asia Society and was a Fulbright scholar at Columbia University. Mr. Asey was also a former Government of Afghanistan official and taught at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF).
