On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, AISS regional office held the forth Herat and Politics Conference series. The theme for this round was “Elections and the Future of Democracy.” In this one-day conference, three panels were conducted: 1) Elections: Challenges and Opportunities. 2) Media and different categories of voters and 3) Pathology of Candidates, Parliament and the representatives of People in Afghan Parliament.
The three previous conferences of this series were held on the following themes: 1) Discussing Herat Political Isolation. 2) Herat Political Development Throughout History. And 3) Religious Discourses and the Socio-Political Transition of Herat.
