Today the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) organized a public speech by Dr. Max L. Gross’s Lecture former Dean of Area Studies College US Department of Defense. Dr. Max L. Gross speech centered on mechanisms of formulating US foreign policy. A detailed discussion on American foreign policy with a focused view on America’s current and future involvement in Afghanistan has been discussed. Dr. Gross also emphasized the American foreign policy for Afghanistan is fundamental in providing the opportunities for a successful and prospers Afghanistan. Today’s event was attended by a number of government officials, members of the parliament, academia, civil society activist and journalists. The speech was followed by a question and answer session, in which Dr. Max L. Gross replied to the questions of the participants.
